Perimenopause - the period that links a women’s reproductive years to menopause. An emotionally challenging time because, as well experiencing many physical symptoms, women often experience feelings of grief, loss and a sense of death and rebirth.

Although menopause does signify an end to what we know in terms of the reproductive stage of life, it’s important to acknowledge that this can be a time of expansive freedom and new beginnings.
