When was the last time you cleaned out unwanted things in your closet? Not necessarily a fun thing to do but sometimes in life we have to stop and take the time to do some deep cleaning. What about your body? When was the last time you cleared out unwanted toxins and residual from your organs? Of course, we clean the outside of our body once or even twice a day here but what gets overlooked is cleaning up the inside. The human body is no different than an old closet in the respect that it collects unwanted debris over the days, months, years and decades and clearing it out is crucial for smooth functioning.
Some signs and symptoms of a toxic overload are:

Did you know that the liver does over 200 functions? Just like our heart, it never truly gets a break but we can definitely reduce its workload through changing lifestyle, detoxifying responsibly and taking high nutritive superfood substances daily. When the liver is overloaded from trying to process all of what we ingest or are exposed to such as chemicals, processed foods, drugs, emotional stress, pollution, impure water, medicines, alcohol or cigarette smoke just to name a few, it simply cannot keep up with its many jobs. Toxins and acids start to build up and the body starts to 'HIDE" these substances within the body until given a chance to release them.
Many people may think to themselves, 'I am not toxic, I don't smoke or drink. I eat well.' But the fact of the matter is we are ALL exposed to environmental toxins and impurities from the foods and water we currently or previously consumed. Over time these toxins build up in our body which can lead to disease. The body attempts to give us signs of its unhappiness and distress; its need for a reduction in workload, but USUALLY, no one listens. With this overload of toxins, the gallbladder, the brain, the kidneys, the muscle tissue, the eyes, the pancreas, the immune system, digestive system, the joints and the skin are continually being compromised. There is only one thing in life that we truly own and that is our body. Take care of it and it will take you where you want to go!
The time is NOW! Cleansing is easier than you think and there are many ways to begin the cleansing process. Whether you make little changes over time, take a break from certain substances, start a regular cleansing program or commit to an extensive cleanse, it just takes a commitment to start. Cleansing will take some motivation and discipline, however in the long run you will learn more about your body and how to care for it for sustainable vibrant health. In the short term YOU WILL FEEL and LOOK BETTER, have MORE ENERGY and be HEALTHIER and HAPPIER! Zesty Tomato Super Soup
Try this quick and flavorful raw veggie soup that is a perfect healthy meal on the the go. Place the following ingredients in your blender on high speed until blended smooth. Use organic ingredients when available.
2-3 medium tomatoes quartered
1 red pepper cored & peeled
2 stalks celery
1 medium peeled cucumber
1/3 cup lemon juice
2-4 cloves garlic
3/4 cup flax oil* or olive oil
1 its sea salt*
1 cup filtered water
½-1 cup fresh basil (or cilantro or mix both)
Handful of Dulse sea vegetables*
1 Nori sheet torn into smaller pieces*
Chile Pepper or Cayenne powder (optional to taste)
1 cored apple (optional if you like a little sweetness)
Optional Toppings: chopped avocado, chopped herbs, diced chives, Spirulina Powder*, Dulse granules*
