Inositol is the common name of myoinositol. Inositol is readily absorbed and used to produce the active inositides as necessary. The various forms of Inositol (phosphatidylinositol and inositides such as IP3) are active in cell-to-cell communication, including the transmission of nerve impulses. Tissues that are affected include the brain, liver and muscles. Inositol is an indirect source of glucose and glucoronic acid, which are essential to liver detoxification.Inositol is derived from rice bran and is made in Japan by Tsuno Rice Company. Inositol may also assist in the relief of mild constipation.
Note: The consumption of large amounts of caffeine may cause a shortage of Inositol in the body.
Suggested Use: Take 1 capsule per day, or as directed by your qualified health care consultant. Best taken with a Vitamin B-Complex. Store in a cool, dry place. Do not refrigerate.
