Flax Fibre – LSA is a blend of certified organic finely ground flax seed meal, sunflower seed and almonds that are:
• A well balanced source of Omega-3 and Omega-6 Essential Fatty Acids (EFAs) and Monounsaturated fatty acid (Omega-9).
• A well balanced source of dietary fiber which helps remove toxins from the body. A high fiber diet assists with healthy regulation of blood cholesterol, blood sugar and oestrogen levels.
Contains 34% high quality well balanced protein which is necessary for healthy muscles, blood and organs
• Is Gluten free - so safe for those with Celiac Disease.
• A good source of Lignans which have a powerful immune boosting effect and act as plant oestrogens to balance hormonal fluctuations.
• A good source of the B Vitamins - Folate, Thiamine, Pantothenic acid, Vitamin B-6. and also Vitamin E.
• A good source of Minerals, particularly Magnesium, Phosphorus, Manganese, Zinc and Selenium.

Almonds are known as the "king of nuts." A slightly sweet variety that is high in calcium, potassium, magnesium, and phosphorus, with 21 grams of protein/100g. It is the most alkalizing nut.

Sunflower Seeds are filled with potassium which helps flush and reduce sodium in the body. They are plentiful in magnesium, phosphorus and calcium. They contain an impressive 23 grams of protein/100g. They are also a good source of Omega-6 Essential Fatty Acid.

Note: It is important to drink more fluids when you increase your intake of dietary fiber. Flax Fibre – LSA must not be swallowed in its dry form.

Flax Fibre – LSA may help with the following:
Helps normalize fat metabolism - It is rich in both Essential Fatty Acids; Omega-3 and Omega-6, which are necessary for normal body function. It also rich in Omega-9 and the vitamin and mineral co-factors needed.
Cardiovascular Health - As a good source of dietary fiber Flax Fibre – LSA can help reduce blood LDL cholesterol and homocysteine - risk factors for cardiovascular disease.
Bowel Health - Due to its mix of soluble and insoluble dietary fiber and its Omega-3 Essential Fatty Acid content. Both constipation and diarrhea respond well to increased fiber intake. Some people find Flax Fibre – LSA helpful for Irritable Bowel Syndrome.
Cognitive function - rich in the Essential Fatty Acids, vitamins and minerals which are important for maintaining cognitive function and regulation of stress hormones.
Cell rejuvenation - a rich source of protein for cell rejuvenation.
Regulates hormones - Flax Fibre – LSA has naturally occurring weak phyto-oestrogen. This makes it an ideal supplement for women during menopause and for those with menstruation problems and endometriosis.

Suggested Use: 1 Tablespoon per day. Flax Fibre – LSA can be used by the entire family. Sprinkle on salads, coleslaw, sandwiches, cereal, fruit salad and pancakes. Enrich rice, cottage cheese, yoghurt and smoothies. Add to soup, sauces, stews and casseroles as a healthy thickener.

Flax Fibre is milled from certified organic de-fatted flax seed, Linum usitatissimum (linseed). The fibre is high quality, unrefined, containing no toxic substances or cholesterol. This product is packaged in the absence of light, air and reactive metals and packaged in black HDPE plastic under an inert gas to further protest it against light and oxygen.

Storage: Once opened, keep refrigerated and use within 6-8 weeks. Can be frozen. See base for Best Before Date and Batch No.
