If when you are alone and you are feeling miserable, you are obviously in bad company.

 – Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev

Based on the Zen philosophy of learning, attention to detail, comfort in simplicity, silence and a clear attentive transcendent mind, Balanced Living & Yoga Journal Singapore present Yoga X Balance #4: Reflections.

Join Yoga & Meditation Teacher Yvette Tee and Nutritional Therapist Tansy Boggon for a 3-part mind-body-spirit evening of silent yoga, intuitive eating workshop and Zen tea ceremony.

Silent Yoga

With the surge of digital technology, we have become a society that is always looking outwards and not inwards. What does this mean for our personal growth and inner wellbeing? Join Yvette for a unique 45 min silent yoga class that helps you take a pause from your external world. This class will help you to disengage from the stream of distractions and reconnect with your inner self through a gentle yoga flow and meditation. This class is suitable for participants of all levels.

Intuitive Eating

We are chronically stressed, altering our eating impulses and seeking comfort foods that are convenient and visually appealing. When we are in tune with appropriate appetite and fullness cues, we become accustomed to physical hunger and stop when satisfied (not stuffed). Tansy will help you tap into your intuitive eating ability and provide the opportunity for you to embark on personalised nutritional coaching.

Zen Tea Ceremony

Quench your thirst for knowledge and good taste with a Zen tea ceremony that will guide you through a drinking tea drinking practice that will heighten your senses and enable you to slip into a deeper state of relaxation and inward reflection.

Participants will receive

  • 45min Silent Yoga
  • 30min Intuitive Eating workshop
  • 45min Zen tea ceremony
  • Yoga Journal Singapore one-year subscription (print or digital)
  • Himalaya Herbals products
  • Light bites and refreshments
