Minerals are also needed for proper composition of body fluids, formation of blood and bone, the maintenance of healthy nerve function and regulation of muscle tone, including that of the cardiovascular system. A mineral deficiency can result in disorder and disease of the body, therefore, daily supplementation is of vital importance as these days we are not sure how much of these our foods actually contain.
