There is question on whether our bodies are getting enough of the good fats in our diets. Lipids (or fats) are needed by every living cell in the human body; in fact 60% of the brain is composed of fats and they are essential for proper brain function. Healthy fats are also needed for heart function, cell integrity, muscle and joint flexibility, nerve impulses, digestion and immune function.
