It’s coming to the end of 2016. Some of us are reflecting on the year that is nearly passed, others are preparing for holidays and vacations, while others may already be conjuring up big ideas for the year ahead. Sooner or later as the new year approaches, many of us do set aside some time to make resolutions, but did you know that despite all the good intentions, research suggests that only 8% achieve their New Year’s goals? A deeper look into why the majority of people fail and the underlying reasons for those who succeed reveal a few basic rules.
